The straight female connector is the base of the MULTI-FIT® system. No special tools are needed to use it, just an Allen spanner to screw it into the pipe. Together with the Multi-fit range of threaded fittings, it is possible to obtain all the different kinds of connections needed to build any heating or water distribution system. This makes the system extremely flexible and easily manageable without the need for special tools. The connector is supplied with an O-ring assembled on the tail, suitable for use with Multi-fit fittings, and with a washer included in the package to be used with flat seat fittings; it will fit any fitting with a BSP thread. The 1/2 “ nut size will also fit Irish and metric copper fittings. Re-usable, just unscrew from the pipe and use again! Minimum and maximum working temperatures: -20°C, 110°C.
